How To Wash Your Scrunchies
Taking proper care of your scrunchies is essential, as they are crafted from fabric and warrant attention much like your clothing items. Nevertheless, the appropriate cleaning method for your scrunchies may vary depending on the fabric type:
For materials like Linen, Rayon, and Silk, we recommend hand washing your scrunchies.
Hand Washing Instructions:
- Separate light and dark scrunchies before washing.
- Submerge your scrunchies in a spacious bowl or sink filled with warm water.
- Add a few drops of hand-wash-friendly laundry detergent.
- Optionally, include a few drops of fabric softener.
- Thoroughly rinse your scrunchies with cold water.
- Allow them to air dry on a towel or hang them for drying.
For fabrics such as Cotton, Acetate, Spandex, Acrylic, Nylon, and Polyester, machine washing is suitable.
Machine Washing Instructions:
- If uncertain about the material of your scrunchie, check the product page or contact us for guidance.
- Avoid washing scrunchies alone in the machine to prevent potential damage.
- Place your scrunchie in a laundry bag or an empty pillowcase.
- Select the delicate cycle or the machine's hand wash option.
- Opt for warm or cold water with the lowest spin cycle setting.
- Using cold water helps prevent fabric shrinking, especially since most scrunchies are made from a blend of cotton and synthetic fibers.
- Gently wring out excess water with a towel. We recommend allowing them to air dry on a towel or hang them for drying.
To maintain the quality of your scrunchies, we suggest washing them approximately once a month.
